  Rehabilitation Medicine - Acute Medical Rehabilitation: Our Team

COMPASSION/SKILL/EXPETISE

Our dedicated, interdisciplinary team of rehabilitation specialists work together to ensure you reach your full recovery potential. The team is led by a physiatrist (a physician trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation) who monitors your progress daily and includes highly skilled:

     • Rehabilitation nurses
     • Physical therapists
     • Occupational therapists
     • Speech-language pathologists
     • Discharge planners
     • Support staff

Family Involvement
Our team works with you and your caregivers throughout the therapeutic process to help everyone develop skills needed to assist you when you go home. The support and encouragement of family and friends is an essential part of your rehabilitation, and we consider all of you important players on our rehabilitation team.
